5. Special Note:

Recommended storage temperature range is 20-22 degree centigrade, relative humidity 90%.
Flowers may be packed with a net covering.
Stem should be free from discoloration, burning and physical damage caused by insects, diseases and chemical residue .
Spathe has a waxy appearance and shapes varies depending on the variety.
Overall length equals to tip of spathe to base plus stem.

6. Sampling:

5 % or minimum one picking unit shall be randomly selected for sampling.
5 nos of picking unit shall be drawn from each selected bunch and shall be mixed homogenously , called as primary sample.
5 nos. picking unit shall be drawn from primary sample called as laboratory sample.
